 Overview:

The forms in this section of the client website are designed to act as risk assessments and also help us assess your environmental, health and safety compliance across your organisation.

All the questions asked within them are based on the requirements for best practice covered by the Health and Safety at Work Etc Act. 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Lifting operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, Approved Codes of Practice, trade association publications and Health & Safety Guidance issued by the HSE.

These forms, if completed properly are assessed by your Chartered Health and Safety Consultant and will constitute a risk assessment for that issue, although additional actions may result from completing the forms, requiring further safeguards to be implemented, to reduce the risks to a reasonably practicable level.

If the safeguard is listed on the form, there must be a good reason why it is not applicable to your organisation, not just that it may seem difficult to implement.

By completing the General Risk Assessment we can assess your H&S compliance and if you sign up to the paid service this information enables us to write you a Health and Safety Policy Manual, which is required by law.

Risk management is a system based on best practice and although these forms are intended for the United Kingdom, following the guidelines in these forms will help any organisation regardless of their location to reduce the risk of harm.
